Summer 2025 youth camps

Looking for a fun and safe way to introduce your child to the exciting world of climbing? Look no further than our Summer Camps for youth! Our camps provide a supportive environment for young climbers to learn, develop new skills, and improve their problem-solving abilities, body awareness, and self-confidence. The program is designed for youth aged 10-12 and teens from 13-16; younger athletes with experience will be considered. We require a minimum of 4 youth to run a session.

The teen weeks run for four days, Monday through Thursday, from 9am to 12:30pm, at a cost of $200+ GST per week. Ages 10-12 runs for four days as well (Monday-Thursday), from 9am-3pm. Cost is $350+ GST for the week. To sign up, simply use our gym management portal below. If you’re already a Confluence Climbing gym member and have entered your family group in the system, you can quickly enroll your child. New to Confluence? No problem! You’ll just need to create an account for yourself, add household members, and sign the waivers during the enrollment process. 

Our youth summer programs are designed and coordinated by our manager, Chris Brazeau. Our curriculum follows the framework established by Climbing Escalade Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development Program. It is rooted in creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment as we strive to make sport a life-long pursuit.

About the camp

The week will start with a gym orientation and an overview of climbing. Every day will be a mix of activities, games and climbing. Maximum 8 kids per camp; minimum 4 needed to run. All gear is included in price (personal gear is welcome).

What to bring

  • A good lunch and snacks for an active day.
  • water bottle
  • Appropriate active clothing (shorts, t-shirt, stretchy pants or leggings) nothing too restrictive or baggy
  • Pair of athletic shoes for warming up outside and games
