Terms and Conditions

All Passes and Memberships

• Students must show valid student ID
• Senior climbers (60+) must show ID
• Youth climbers must show government issued ID indicating their age
• Children must be accompanied closely by an adult at all times.
• Non-recurring memberships last for a month, six months, or year and then expire. Some gyms refer to these as “prepaid”
• Recurring memberships renew automatically each month, charging a credit card on the first of each month. Recurring memberships charge a startup fee but no cancellation fee. When the recurring membership automatically renews for the 12’th time (after a year) we will  return the startup fee.
• A recurring monthly membership can be “frozen” for a charge of $10 per month.
• Members must agree to the posted gym rules of Confluence Climbing
• GST is payable on all memberships and passes (but they are exempt from PST)

Day Passes

• All day pass purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable
• All day passes are valid for one entrance to the CC facility

Punch Passes

• All punch pass purchases are non-refundable.
• Punches may be shared between individuals as long as the punch pass holder is present.
• Punch passes do not expire
• Students must show valid student ID
• Seniors (60+) must show ID to receive 25% off

Non-recurring monthly membership

• The membership must be paid in full on the date of purchase
• The membership is valid for 1 month from the date of purchase
• The membership cannot be frozen or cancelled

Recurring monthly membership

• Recurring membership begins on the date of purchase and continues indefinitely until cancelled
• Recurring memberships are billed on the first of each month.
• The first month’s payment will be prorated based on the date of purchase.
• The first payment will include a $50 startup fee
• Recurring membership may be frozen or cancelled. 
• There is no charge for cancelling a recurring monthly membership.
• There is a $10 charge per month for “freezing” a recurring membership.
• To freeze a membership, we require 2 days notice before the 1st day of the month the freeze is to take effect.  The reason for this is technical. Less than 2 days notice makes it impossible to stop the automatic credit card payment scheduled for the 1st.  (hint: freeze towards end of month)
• A cancellation or hold request form filled out in person at Confluence Climbing and Fitness OR an email to info@confluenceclimbing.com stating the request to freeze or cancel with the desired effective date of the change will be accepted as “notice”

Six month (non-recurring) Membership

• The membership must be paid in full on the date of purchase
• The membership is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase
• The membership cannot be frozen or cancelled

Annual (non-recurring) Membership

• The membership must be paid in full on the date of purchase
• The membership is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase
• The membership cannot be frozen or cancelled
